Bring the work, not a perfect brief.

A typical report, a blank template or an anonymised example can make the first discussion more concrete. Keep confidential employee, customer and project information out of an initial WhatsApp enquiry.

If nobody owns the workflow or the inputs are unreliable, preparation may be the first phase. If the workflow is clear, define a small pilot and test it against the baseline.
